Foundation Kick

Im totally obsessed with foundation right now
I have no idea why !
Actually I do know - the pixiwoo sisters
make me wanna try everything they use
as well as other youtubers !
I need to stay off the internet lol...

I just ordered a BB Cream...
...about to order Nars Sheer glow in Tahoe...
...also gonna order another MUFE in #170 because
they dont sell it in the UK I dont think.
Once I get to London I want to try
Bourjois Healthy Mix in Dark Bronze because
Ive heard its great and smells like fruit !
I think thats the darkest shade they offer
so I hope its okay for me !
From the photo it looks like it would be
my sort of color.

Also ! Im so excited about Chanel's new foundation
coming out. Its the Perfection Lumiere line !
For once Chanel will have 23 shades to choose from !
Its amazing ! Usually the darkest they go to is maybe
NC 40ish ? The consistency of their foundations are
amazing but they didnt cater to darker skin tones
before. I believe they are coming out later
this month !

BB Cream for NC42 Skin / Missha Haul

momocha84.blogspot.com

In the summer I go up to about NC45 and
in the winter my color fades a few shades.
Especially in the sunless depths of ye old
England...Ill probably be able to wear
Misshas M Perfect Cover #31 bb cream. YAY !
Its a caramel-ish color great for people
around NC42 in Mac.
I've been meaning to try this for ages.
I just ordered it on Misshas US website
but I will probably save it for Autumn/Winter
Very excited !
If you are a bit lighter than NC42 there is also
a #27 one which is called Honey Beige.
Either way if you order one and its not quite
right...you could always adjust it with your
foundation. I usually always mix two foundations
together anyways. At the moment I use
MUFE #170 mixed with Fit me in 320
But anyway, if you are familiar with BB Cream
you would know that it was formulated for
people to use after laser skin treatments...
So that they could have coverage but
not irritate the skin. So, yeah !
I think it would be a good thing
to have for school time ... just
slap it on and go since its its
a multi-function product : )
If one day you dont have time
to do all your steps you could just
put some BB cream on ... and go.
Heres what else I got :

Also - check out the billions of freebies
I got. Its so amazing.
I got a lip palette for ordering 1 lipstick,
a BB Cream sample pack for spending over $40
a BB Cleansing Oil for spending over $60
I also got free shipping... & a free full size BB Cream
because its my first order ! Its not
my color so Ill probably do a giveaway later on
: )

The freebies are worth way  more than the
actual stuff I bought  !
The items are more than they would
be in Korea. But you get lots
of free stuff...Plus I dont even think
they sell #31 in Korea....
I love this website !

P.S - They shipped my order after less
than 24 hours of me ordering it !

The first four pictures are two coats of Midnight in NYC by Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. Not sure if you can tell but this polish has these mini rainbow shimmers in it!
The next four pictures is one coat of Kotori by Zoya on top. It's a beautiful blue shimmery glittery polish! :)
Then I added some Konad stars on my ring finger.

Hope ya like em!

Random !

I really had a hard time deciding what to paint my nails today so I did a mixture of designs!

Despicable Me Minion!
Thunderbolt
Marble Hearts
Pokeball

Galaxy/Space Nails!

Hey hey!

Today I did the Monday Nail Art challenge for Polishholics Anonymous, a facebook group I'm in for nail/beauty bloggers :D The winning theme for this week was galaxy nails! I used a foundation sponge and a bunch of colors to do these. The base color is China Glaze Black Diamond, which is a gorgeous black creme with tiny silver speckles (2 coats).

This is my first time doing galaxy nails! I put the Big Dipper on my ring finger haha :D

Okay yayyy! I'm happy with how these came out, I was afraid the colors wouldn't blend well. Sooo tell me what you guys think. Do you like these? Have you tried galaxy nails? Thanks for reading :)

OPI Megawatt?! Swatch

Hey everyone :)

Today's manicure is OPI's Megawatt?! Isn't the name great? And appropriate, since this polish is just the color of a lightbulb! Take a look ;)

Megawatt is a yellow-green shimmer with a whitish base. On the nail the polish looks pearly. Megawatt is more opaque than I thought it was, and I used three coats in these pictures :D

You can see the yellowish tint a bit better in the last picture, taken in the shade. Megawatt just glows on my nails, I love it :)

Also, I'm preparing a giveaway since I hit 100 followers not that long ago, just so you guys know! So keep and eye on this space for that, it's coming very soon :) I'm so thankful for all of my readers, and bewildered at times that you guys take the time to read and comment. I just wanted you guys to know that, even without me doing a giveaway to show my appreciation!

Okay, have a good Friday! Woohoo :D

BeautySewnIn

So more and more I've been subscribing to gurus in the UK.

It gives me a sense of first what to expect in terms of shopping

and second ... it sort of takes the anxiety out of the situation.

I have never been to England before and watching English

girls on youtube...just makes me feel a bit more relaxed...

sort of like Im getting a little taste of what Im in for.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share a couple videos

of the most recent channel I've subscribed to - beautysewnin

She is so adorable !

Nail de Royale Review!

Heyyy :)

So a company called Nail de Royale was kind enough to send me a few of their products for me to review :) They are a nail supply company based in California, and they sell anything you would need for your nails including China Glaze, Essie, Nubar polishes, Swavorski crystals, cuticle oil, UV lamps, etc! Here's what they sent me:

(L-R) La Rosa Crackle Shatter Polish in Feeling Blue? and Omega Labs Nail Art Striper Brush (no color listed, but it's dark red)

(L-R) Truth of Isis Solid Star glitters in Sunset and Spring Desire Star

Enlarge this one, it's a closeup :)

So, I used the two Isis glitters in a manicure on top of Essie's Sand Tropez. These glitters are really easy to place one my one on the nail, and would also make great frankens (say, in a jelly polish :) They also are of a good size, they weren't too big for my nails. I really recommend these for nail art since they're so easy to manoeuvre. I'd like to try a gradient with these :P

I didn't put top coat so you could clearly see the width/size of the glitters, but of course you would put top coat on :)

Next, here is the crackle polish and the striper they sent me on my nails.

As always with crackle polishes, you can apply it thin. thick, diagonally, horizontally, etc to get different effects. This polish 'cracked' quickly and dried to a matte finish. I think the color and finish of this polish would look lovely any way you applied it. Just look at that bright, almost neon blue!

The nail art striper was a rich dark red, perfect for some fall nail art. As I demonstrated on my pinky, you can really vary the width of the lines you paint, depending on pressure. The brush of the striper is thin and good for details, and the nail polish itself is not watery at all, but very pigmented and would show up on a range of polishes. I was really happy with this striper :)

I'll definirely check out Nail de Royale in the future, since I really liked the products they sent me, and they may have sold me on this (long past) crackle trend haha.

Nail de Royale's website is here, you can find them on facebook here.

Tell me what you think about my review! I always want to know :D Thanks for reading :)
