LAQA & Co. Nail Lacquer Pens

I love finding innovative nail products and colors and thanks to Glasgow (and Red Light PR), I have found a fantastic combination of the two; great, creamy color in an unusual form - a pen. Introducing LAQA & CO. Nail Pens, "a range of bright, high gloss nail lacquers in a pen. They work just like a real pen, only these pens let you quickly and neatly do your nails anywhere in a few clicks."

First, I love the names of the polishes - Fancypants, I Want a Pony and WTF (ironic since its a pretty pale pink). The nail formula is so creamy and smooth and one coat gives great coverage. The statement that this is a high gloss lacquer is absolutely true, even without a top coat, my nails gleamed. I decided to try Fancypants, a creamy gray brown (apologies for the messy application - experiencing slight wrist pain). The first photo is without a top coat and the second is with - practically no difference

Another wonderful thing about LAQA & Co.Nail Pens is the packaging. LAQA & Co. works with some amazing young designers to create the wonderfully unique art you see on the packaging below (taken from different angles). From left to right see the packaging for WTF (designed by Geraldine George), I Want a Pony (designed by Hazel Nicholls) and Fancypants (designed by Cindy Rodriguez)

Not only do these young artists get their work seen by everyone who purchases a nail lacquer, they even get a cut of the profit from every purchase. You can see the rest of the designer's work with the coordinating nail lacquer by visiting LAQA & Co.'s Artists page.
